This VB program is used by structural engineers to verify steel connections. It is almost done, however the items below need to be addressed before it is released.
1- Sometimes when the print button is pressed or I go to File print, the print dialog box does not open. It just sends the print job to the printer. Needs to be fixed?
2- I would like to have a print preview button. (Redirect the printmethods module to a form?)
3- Occasionally the program stays in the memory and the second instance does not open unless I go to task manager and shut id down. (May be a dll used by an ocx is not unloading?)
4- Would like to have the rbs extension registered when the program is installed.
5- Need to have the help file show up when called out. The help file is enclosed, and it will be completed later on.
6- There is some code for mouse control for the flex grid. It is my understanding (from newsgroups) that none is needed? Without the code the grid does not scrool on some computers.
7- Will the program work on windows 98, windows me, xp, nt4 and 2000? If no what is the fix?
8- Will the form1 fit on any screen size as long as the resolution in no less than 800X600? If no what is the fix?
9- I have created an installer file, but it is not putting the file where I want it. I would like to have a shortcut on the desktop and a shortcut at the following place. Start-Programs-RBSection. The installer file is also enclosed in a zip file.
Can the following items be addresses?
1- Can the printout be made like the attached document in formula format? Formulas never change. See sample [login to view URL]
