Convert ASP Chat to PHP

Hi, I have a chat room coded in ASP (see attached files) and would like to convert it to PHP. The chat room runs off flat files and does not use any database. All a user needs to do is navigate to the chat page, enter any username or nickname they like, submit and start chatting. Aside from converting this script to PHP, I want the user login part of it hard-coded with a "default" username so a user does not have to enter one before logging in and chatting. This is because I want to parse usernames to the chat page directly from a script which logs users into my website. This should be pretty straight forward for a competent coder. I have had to repost this project because no coder could do the original project which was to build a chat server for my phpBB3 board. Any suggestions you may have to implement this in best possible way are very welcome.
