The custom webapplication for the Trucking/Mining Company will be developed.
The webapp will handle all day to day business operations of HGG.
Drivers input data and complete all tasks needed from point to point.
The main features of the application will be:
Driver Dashboard:
a. Login to access their user account.
b. Can complete all tasks needed from point to point
Admin Dashboard:
Admin can manage user accounts, vehicles, Scheduling, Hiring, Employee Personal data,
performace will be tracked.
He can Add/edit remove schedules
Manage DOT compliance
Can view all routes
Views data / charts and reports.
Employee Driver Management
a. Admin can setup employee / driver (Add employee)
b. Each employee willhave their own account page (Dashboard)
c. Admin can mange the employees in the following way:
- Application process
- Hiring process
- Retention of employee information (past employees details)
- Active employees List.
Truck Management
a. Add/edit/delete trucks to the system
b. To add custom data attributes such as VIN, Plates, unique identifiers.
c. Mark status of vehicle as: Under maintenance, Production
d. Can assign truck to driver.
Questions:
a. What are the functionality to be developed for the Scheduling and Reports ?
b. What are the functions of the API integration (third party API). Please explain their
implementation with respect to the proposed project. (Netsuites, ADP, Telegis)
