We have a Drupal 7 site that uses the "Cloudinary Integration" contrib module (7.x-1.3, link [1] below) with the most recent Cloudinary PHP SDK. Rather than having all files go first through Drupal and then from Drupal to Cloudinary, we would like all files to be uploaded directly to the Cloudinary API using jQuery with a method similar to [2]. Note that we are currently uploading images but may also want to support video uploads in the future.

Work will require the creation of a file upload widget for Drupal, integrating the existing jQuery code from the SDK, and testing in modern browsers. If there's any design required, these should be very minimal and can be discussed.

Furthermore, we are using the Multiupload Imagefield Widget module [3], which allows us to upload multiple images at once. The replacement Cloudinary jQuery image uploader should also support multiple simultaneous file upload capability.

For what it's worth, I created a feature request for this some time ago [4] but haven't received any replies.
