I have xml file that I need to extract certin variables out of it using element tree in a python script that and save the results in csv file format. Variables required are: filename, identifier (in the xml referred to it as [login to view URL]), line (line number), [login to view URL] (POS tag), type ( function, decl_stmt, constructor, expo_stmt ...etc) I have done some work a while ago, and I will attach the old code if you want to use it, but now I need to work on the same work again and find more other variables as requested.
