I have had a website for 4 years, hosted by Kajabi. It functions OK on a PC, but horribly on a mobile device. It seems I am always trying to figure a way around its limitations to my needs. I am far from a web designer, so I am not sure if Kajabi can be fixed or I need to move on. Here is the need for my business:
I am in the mutual fund business and created the best fund selection tool in the business. This year is the 23rd printing of my Mutual Fund Report Cards. Kajabi was good for the teaching part:
lesson #1: even long-term past performance sucks at predicting future fund success
lesson #2: if you can not select funds based on past performance - and everyone does - how the hell do you pick mutual funds?
lesson #3: I found that successful mutual funds have 9 traits in common
lessons #4 thru lesson #12: discussion of each trait and proof that it works
Here comes the failing part of my Kajabi site:
After going thru the 12 lessons, visitors want to see the scoring of their favorite funds. I have scored over 6,000 mutual funds in over 100 investment categories. Importantly, I want each fund to have a side-by-side comparison of their fund with every other fund in that category. So in Kajabi, I made over 100 pdf files containing these funds. In order to know which pdf file contains which funds, I needed a SEARCH mechanism. In Kajabi, the only way to do that is to place the fund names and their symbols in the BODY of a PRODUCT. That body takes up so much space that you seem to curse forever before finding the link to the pdf.
I know exactly WHAT I want, just not how to get it.
I wanted to spell out what I need to prevent freelancers from saying "Yeah, I can do that!" without knowing the situation and the issues.
