FTP/vsftpd setup help ubuntu 18.04

I have a small ubuntu 18.04 server I need help getting FTP set up. I have a domain pointed to the server with a basic LAMP setup (working fine). I installed vsftp but need help setting up users. I want the commands to be able to do it myself, I just need someone to check the configuration and tell me what I did wrong and how to add users. Users will have their own folder in /var/www/html So for example /var/www/html/person1 /var/[login to view URL] [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] work. I need to give person1 access to /var/www/html/person1 and person2 access to /var/[login to view URL] I need commands so I can set up the rest of the users. I just need one set of commands that I can run for the remaining users, for example: sudo chown -R nobody:nogroup /var/www/html sudo chmod a-w /var/www/html sudo chown -R cccrandolph:cccrandolph /var/www/html/cccrandolph echo "cccrandolph" | sudo tee -a /etc/[login to view URL]
