I am web developer with 8 years of Python and Django experience (my first web
was done using 0.96 version). Having done hundreds of projects (mostly web),
I've used a large number of Python libraries and frameworks, such as
PIL/Pillow, requests, tastypie, django-rest-framework, django-cms, reportlab,
lxml, flask and many more. In my work, I have used Apache with modwsgi and
Nginx with uWSGI and Gunicorn. I also have experience with AWS and Google Cloud
platforms.
I have a lot of experience on Google Apps platform, with different language (Python and JavaScript) client libraries, REST APIs and Google Apps Script.
I consider myself skilled with relational databases and love working with SQL
directly, when ORM is not quite good enough or there is need to work with
triggers, stored procedures, or when ORM simply isn't capable of using SQL
features and performance matters.
I prefer backend work but I have spent my fair share of doing Javascript, both
on backend (Node) and frontend using Angular.
I have used Linux, both on desktop and servers, since 2009 and although I don't
consider myself system administrator, I have succesfully set up and managed
Linux servers. I love automating tasks so I have used (more than I care to
admit) Bash to write all kinds of scripting jobs.
In the past, I worked with C, Delphi (Object Pascal), and C# in my career. But
programming languages are my kind of my passion, so I have played with Lisp and
Scheme, Haskell, Lua, Go and Rust.
