Need someone to modify how the page sorts items (Social Engine)

ABOUT: On our site, we have a page for offers and another one for shopping the items are sorted in order by the date they were added. We want the first three items or all items (whichever is easier to build) to be selected in whatever order we want instead of the default date order. *** Please understand that everything is already built and you are just modifying how the items are sorted when the page loads. RECAP: We already created everything just need someone to look at the code that sorts the items on the page and modify it based on our requirements above. There are two different pages Offers & Shopping they work the same but before, need to have the same changes to sorting done.
