It will appear under the brand "PEERED" as from "peer reviewed". I own the web domains "[login to view URL]" and "[login to view URL]". We are setting the project to start first in the space of the European Union and its academic ecosystem. It's main features will be to aggregate systematically and thoroughly all the contents that are being produced and released in this ecosystem, mainly, course programs, unit syllabus, audio and video recording of classes, etc.. We hope by this to create a buzz in the academic institutions that drive all the actors to a "new world full of treasures and rewarding experiences" :) and motivate a deeper connection and future work among them. It will have a backoffice with intuitive management and notoriety tools. A space for institutions to enter and manage their contents similar for each of the institutions to what OCW is for MIT, so we will be trying to have thousands of OCW's one for each university. And a space for users to make their profiles and receive suggestions from other similar users and compare what they saw to what other similar users saw on the site... the part of the users will be similar to Spotify's personal workspace but in this case not for musics but for academic contents. You may think of it as a mixture of OCW - [login to view URL]; and the various resources that the academic institutions deploy in YouTube as in [login to view URL]; also an accurate calendar of conference "deadlines" and venues (as in CONAL, and forget CONAL's design please :) in [login to view URL]; and a Web-TV feature streaming live conferences from where they happen or tailored contents to each user . Well it is it :). We are thinking of starting a "Phase 0" with European Academic Institutions that have Social Sciences curricula. So if you are a Master or PhD student or investigator or teacher in any academic field around the world you will want to stay in/on [login to view URL] so you don't miss a thing that goes around the world in your field of study, or simply to check what others similar to you are seeing or attending to. We are thinking of a logo coming from the idea of a "verified stamp" images tab (google it please!) or go to [login to view URL] or "checked" in [login to view URL] We came up with some builds but we are open to every proposal and we are not satisfied with what we came up with. The idea is that in the academic world things are not "verified" for compliance, they are instead "peered". We are really wanting only a possibility of logo and mock-up website and its structure and how could it be articulated, just to envision it further and also to have something more than words for fundraising meetings. And also find someone we can work in the future and minimally understands our "only still an idea", and apparently someone who "got" our idea.
