PHP Scraper, store data to database, analyse data, create email

Hi there, I need a PHP scraper built that will scrape a URL once per week, then store the results to a database, and then analyse the database for patterns and matches to then create an email. This is for a tipping competition so that you can help me automatically pick the most likely winner of a weekly competition involving 100 or so entrants. Each week there will be about 100 entrants to the event, which will need to be automatically scraped... so it is not a big project. But I need you to then compare the past results from the database that we build, with this week's entrants, to predict who may win this week. There will be other simple criteria to follow as well, as I cannot choose the same person twice in the competition. I want to save very good entrants for certain bigger competitions during the year. Please us the code-word of pineapple in your proposal so that I know you have read this. Once the best entrant is selected, the system is to generate and send an email to two recipients. This will be built in MySQL and PHP. I would like to edit this once complete, so the code needs to be commented, and written neatly with good code formatting. Send me any questions you may have! :)
