Hi, a prestashop expert here. You can't simple upgrade the website. There are 2 important things you need to consider: 1. The extensions you currently have. There is a big jump from 1.4 to 1.6 - 1.7 2. The theme, if you have purchased the theme, you can purchase the update, otherwise, it won't work. Let me know if you want to keep discussing.
