Page Crawler for Spellchecking Site

**We are only looking for someone to help with the backend of this website, not the design** 1. There will be a Homepage with a box for users to enter a URL to be scanned for spelling errors. 100 pages maximum will be scanned. 2. Once a user enters their URL, the site will go to a processing page. 3. The Processing page will have a progress bar that goes from 0% to 100% as the scanner goes through the URL along with live stats to show how many pages have been scanned and how many spelling errors have been found. 4. At 100% completed, the site will go to a Completed page with the final stats of how many pages were scanned and how many spelling errors were found. 5. The Completed page will read “We found XX spelling errors on your website, where do you want the report emailed to?” and provide boxes for the user to enter their first name, last name, and email address. There will be a submit button for the user to click once they’ve entered all their information. 6. Once the user has clicked the submit button, a Confirmation page will show saying “Thank you! Your report will be emailed to *INSERT EMAIL HERE* shortly.” 7. A PDF report will be automatically emailed to the user with a list of all pages that were scanned, pages that were not scanned, a list of all the spelling errors found on the maximum 100 pages scanned, a link to what page or pages the error is on. We will provide a template for the PDF. Details of the project We will be building this website in WordPress and taking care of the design. Therefore, the design is not a component of this project. Incorporating the functionality above is what we need. This functionality would preferably be coded in Python or Node.js, but we are willing to discuss any ideas you may have. Here is the example site: [login to view URL] The example site has most of the functionality we’re looking for with the scanner, progress bar, and live status box to show the scanner as it goes though the entered URL. The completed page on the example site has a good outline of information that will go into the emailed report for this project. Potential Additional Features: • Reoccurring reports submitted to users weekly, monthly, or in customized intervals • Increased number of pages scanned to 1000 and 10,000 • Broken link scanning reports sent to the user
