1. ssh into server, Run ipmi tool lan lan print ——- > grep for MAC address, IPMI, Subnet Mask, gate way (If ipmitool not installed need to install) 2. Run dmidecode | grep -A 9 -I System Information —— > Gather information into (Manufacturer, Product Name, Version, Serial Number. 3. With serial number ——— > go manufacture site, pull information for expire date, manufacture date, service support contract date 4. Server uptime, Server OS, Memory, 5. Run /svstat/service grep for cores* 6. Ifconfig ———> ipaddress, bond info Final Output: Gather Info and place it in Excel
