Major objectives.
1. Set run as dummy for all existing jobs, z/OS (MVS) jobs require special handling, Must detect original values for Job type and Use embedded JCL, Distributed systems is Only add flag with true value. Reflected in example XML file and reviewed in training.
2. In MVS jobs find variable PAUSEFORSUBMIT=nn 'nn' is minutes capture and convert value to $_ + ":{new value in hundredths of seconds} For example PAUSEFORSUBMIT=15 is replaced by PAUSEFORSUBMIT=15:90000 retain the new value for next step. Insert new job preceeding the job with variable, INCONDS should be moved to this new job, New job should connect to job with PAUSEFORSUBMIT variable, New job name must be unique in the folder, New job will require (base provided XML) updated to include in folder ,application, subapplication, MEMNAME, and update pause value in embedded JCL. Basically this new job replaces a pause in workflow processing a complex workflow.
