We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and manage the development of our software platform. Preference is for the candidate to be in Australia. About The Role Reports to the CTO Works closely with Solution Architect, Business Analyst and the Project Manager Act as a liaison between product and engineering, putting on your product hat as necessary to help refine requirements and ship features that delight the user base Provides senior level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Integrates third party products. Translates technical specifications into code for complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients. Writes programs, develops code, tests artifacts, and produces reports. Employs software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that support automation. Thoroughly understands software development methodology. Thoroughly understands development architecture standards. Trains and mentors staff with less experience. Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Explains technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients. Performs systems analysis activities. Our Stack - React.JS, Angular, Redux, Node.js, AWS, RabbitMQ, Redis, MySQL Your Experience & Skills 5+ years of professional software development experience. Experience with our front-end technologies – React, TypeScript, Angular, Redux, NodeJS. Experienced with our back-end stack – Python/Django, Nodejs Understanding of product and a passion for building software that provides a great experience. Experience building applications backed by RESTful JSON APIs. Follows coding best practices (unit testing, documentation, Git source control, etc.) Experienced in performing code review for others Team player, strong communication skills, and empathetic. Preferred additional qualifications Experience working with celery, Django rest framework and postgres Understanding of AWS technologies including RDS, EC2, Cloudwatch Experience managing infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or similar tools Experience with GraphQL Automated testing and data quality assurance experience
