Advanced 'Recliner' Product Prototype

We are seeking a dynamic 3-D CAD Modeler to support our research and development to collaboratively build a prototype design for an advanced ‘recliner’ product. The prototype design will be progressively built from scratch through modularity, material and structural analysis in a very iterative and agile approach. The Modeler will be guided and supported through the idea and needs of the business partners to develop the product prototype through anticipated design trials and adaptations. It’s a tremendous opportunity for the right developer in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and energetic environment.
Key Responsibilities
(1) Partner with leadership team to interactively build 3D models & prototype in lean and agile manner.
(2) Design an innovative inflatable silicone & foam cushion structure and related electrical connections with input and support from leadership team.
(3) Provide positive criticism with a “yes we can do” attitude.
(4) Resourcefulness to review performance to plan and identify risks and opportunities for project.
(5) Identify growth opportunities to differentiate product in the marketplace aligning with organization strategy enabling long term growth.
(6) Actively provide feedback on design issues and brainstorm alternate viable designs.
