I am looking for a Designer with 3D modelling expertise that can convert my Architect’s 3D CAD model .dwg file to a format that I can print out on a 3D printer for use at an Expo in early July.
My company is a Modular building company that builds 5-star hotels using steel modules that look like shipping containers. The model you will be creating is a 35 room, 3 storey hotel made up from 41 different modules.
Our building system uses pre-fabricated modules that stack on top of each other to create a fully complete building structure The model you create needs to be able to demonstrate this stacking feature. You will need to create a lug system that allows the model modules to be joined vertically and horizontally in different configurations. This joining system needs to be durable and easy to connect and disconnect modules.
The files you produce need to be a format that is ready for printing. I am not very experienced with 3d printing, so I will be relying on your expertise to help get the files to a print ready state. The 3d printer I’m using is a Da vinci 1.0 Pro
Attached is detailed brief. I have included in the brief a link to where you can download the architect's CAD file so you know what you having to work with.
The deadline for providing the final print ready files is this Friday 22nd June.
