Project management programme Our project management programme predominately operates within our real estate and infrastructure sectors and assistant project managers are given the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will be exposed to both the pre and post contract work stages enabling you to have a real impact on the project lifecycle. You will be exposed to as many different areas as possible to support your professional development pathway. Project management reduces risk and helps clients deliver projects in a consistent and improved manner. Project managers are responsible for the day to day management of the various aspects of the project, working collaboratively with different disciplines. During your year placement, you will work as an assistant project manager supporting the project management commissions, taking responsibility for effectively delivering a vast range of tasks to the highest quality standards. We are currently recruiting across all of our offices in the UK & Ireland, however, it is likely that you will have to have to visit and work from client sites over the course of your year placement. Key Responsibilities Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project Producing project plans Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators Tracking and documenting changes Preparing written project communication materials Preparing formal project progress and other reports Liaising with the client, contractors and designers Attending meetings and drafting minutes, etc. Preparing presentation materials for client pitches etc. Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database What we’re looking for Strong team-working and interpersonal skills Clear interest in project management Self-motivated individual with a good aptitude to learn Highly organised and high attention to detail Strong analytical skills Commercially focused
