Using the Emergency Response Plan- create a PowerPoint presentation and tabletop training exercise based on the scenario" the current building was severely damaged by a tornado that touched down in Cass County and we need to relocate service for 3-4 months". In the scenario note that the Penn Church was also damaged by the tornadoes unavailable but the Hope Church can be used. Meals on Wheel need to be set up for a total of 63 seniors who are currently receiving the services. Home care services need to continue as necessary. Adult Day Services should continue for the current 15 participants in the new location.
The exercise should cover Meals on Wheel, Home Care, Adult Day service, the finance department (which can work remotely, as needed and HR which can also work remotely).
be sure to review issues with cellphone service, issues with road closures related to the damage from the tornado, internet connectivity that could impact payroll etc...
The PPT should review the procedures and then walk through each aspect of the scenario. There needs to be handouts for each applicable team for their charting and such and an After Action Review form for areas that need clarification, additional support or practice.
The PowerPoint will walk them through the exercise .
Some examples are attached as is the actual Emergency Response Plan for the Cass County COA. I have a 3 week deadline on this project and do not want to pay more than $100. I will attach a fire scenario that can be modified and the same format can be used for our scenario
