Google Cloud Platform (pubsub) and Salesforce integration

Hi, Greetings from Appadurai Had gone through your requirement to integrate GCP to Salesforce integration. From the project requirement, believe that the Salesforce will be the subscriber for the messages published by the source. From our understanding , publisher will post messages which will be sent to the Salesforce (subscriber) using Push subscription ie configure Salesforce Rest endpoint url as the subscriber something similar to a webhook. We have done many integrations from third party system to Salesforce eventhough not with GCP but which we can very much do with our earlier integration experience. Need a few clarifications though - 1. What actions does Salesforce need to do after recieving the messages ? 2. Does the rest end point url to recieve messages should be authenticated because we need to check on this part on how to integrate the publisher to authenticate the Salesforce endpoint? 3. Am assuming that Push subscription will be used so that data will be sent to the subscriber immediately after published OR do you plan to use Pull subscription. Looking forward to discuss in detail.
