I need to automatically reboot the stations which are there in an excel sheet using putty or any other ssh media. when I ssh into the device it asks my username. Then I have to enter one command to reboot it . Then it asks for my password and once I enter my password, the station reboots. I have about 100 such stations stored in an excel sheet. I want to automatically reboot those as per the excel sheet. A batch file or any other scripting is welcomed.

Hi, I think an expect script will do here for you. To make expect to work you need a similar sequence of commands to reboot. Since there is no key based authentication for your servers I think expect is only the option to try. Thank you

hi, This looks pretty simple. What I will need to make this thing happened: - I need a server (Linux) to place ma bash script - The input file should be csv or txt - The username/password to login to these servers (suppose that it is using the same credential) and make sure that the "username" can sudo in remote server to allow reboot it If okay, I will give you a bash script to do this in one day Regards, --T

Your computer will run an Ubuntu server. This server will keep the information of other servers with the Django web interface. With a python script, you can reset servers. I'will share the source code with you.
