For six years I consulted for PG&E on their industrial energy efficiency programs, primarily cooling in laboratories and data centers. I'm very familiar with the HVAC industry. I also have extensive scripting and web experience (Python + Java Script) building various personal tools. My bid for this project would be to build a web-based tool that would fit into your existing website, which your sales engineers could access to generate proposals. Using an existing formatted template, it would allow users to select equipment, with each product assigned a list price. Users could then select a discount off list, then enter in details such as client, dates, location, etc. The tool would then generate a downloadable PDF. Depending on your existing arrangement, it might be necessary to build a database of equipment. If so, this would include a separate page for entry and management of equipment. I will add a separate line-item for Quickbooks integration. If you select this bid, please clarify what you need in terms of a "good, better, best" proposal. This bid assumes you have a website and you can grant access to a Linux-based server with Python and MySQL installed.
