Implementing own Encryption or Digital Signature Technique or Algorithm, Description Nowadays, security by encryption is done using either a third-party application or the database’s native digital signature processing, the former being too expensive, while the latter offers weak security. The idea is for the students to formulate their own encryption algorithm or a modified digital signature authentication method. Significance To develop a new encryption technique or to demonstrate a novel method of securing and verifying digital signature without using any third party application. Students will implement and demonstrate the new encryption technique using Java programming. This may be demonstrated by a local server and client connection. Or Students will demonstrate the new digital signature process by setting up a Digital Certificate Server where user PCs need to connect and obtain a new digital signature after being authenticated as a legitimate user.
