Sorting points in order to build a smart path (VB6 project)

Sorting points in order to build a smart path The project has to be done using Visual Basic 6. Not .NET! No 3rd party tools allowed, only pure VB6. We want well coded, understandable code. Means comments where necessary, and self-explaining variable names. The result must be error-free. The task is about sorting points by their nearest distance and a smart overall travel. The point count can be quite large (100.000). The solution shall be memory-saving and fast. Our initial data is a simple list with XY points. Every single XY point has some other data with it, and on sorting the points it must be respected. Read in detail in the attached PDF please.
