Relevant Skills and Experience I have experience installing/configuring syslog-ng (balibit free versions) with Splunk integration. This includes forwarder collection on syslog servers, direct syslog collection via Splunk and outbound syslog from Splunk. Also, I have experience building large integrated Splunk systems containing all layers of the architecture across distributed OS types with hundreds of sourcetypes and thousands of users. Basically, I've done all of the things you propose in my day job.
