Although there are some other services like Riot, Solr, I think the most suitable one is Elastic Search. Solr fits better into enterprise applications that already implement BIG DATA eco system tools like Hadoop and Spark. Hi, it will be better to store metadata , associated questions and keywords, tags etc in a relational database and link with physical image through a unique id so images are quickly searchable. for image database then even we can use local file system of server or amazon s3 or any flat file system

Hello. I already implemented the project similar with your requirement using elasticsearch. I indexed images on Dropbox into Elasticsearch and searched from indexed images. This is the best solution for your project. Best regards, Julio

HI, 1 - Use dropbox API to save the files 2 - save dropbox link for the files to db 3. Along with the dropboxlink save searchable keywords for the file as JSON 4. Use full text search or if using NOsql db search the doc with keywords and get links as result 5. download search result when asked for. If i have understood correctly do let me know.
