Please explain your senario 1. if you need to recover the files from a computer which is having windows operating system and it is not booting up. 2. if you need to repair the crashed windows installation? if option1, we can recover the files by the help of Ubuntu live cd and we need to make a bootable image of presently installed Windows version if you are facing option 2.
