The project is to see what can be done in Captivate to make the learning experience highly interactive, but simple to use. we have a training pack on storylining that i would like an elearning expert to take from being a simple ppt pack, to make it something pretty innovative - not overly expensive to produce, but rather utilsing innovative approaches to make it highly interactive for our staff to learn how to develop great storylines (for presentations). i would like someone to a) make a recommendation for the overall approach (ie a full training pack, and a short 3 min refresher video for example); b) develop the first section of the pack, into what you think is a great training experience for the end user, whether it's using gamification or other mechanisms to make it 'innovative'. i don't want what others have, but rather something that is considered leading edge. hence testing it with the first section (pages 1-20) of the pack. once we have agreed this first section we can continue with the other sections and push the boundaries. if successful this would be the first of many training modules we would want to convert into elearning.

I can consult on more than adding Captivate interactivity to this course. I have a few additional considerations to offer to enhance the learning experience: Examples of a few of the suggested considerations: -Slide 0: The use of "2.0" is not clear but may be pre-existing knowledge for the learner -Slide 1: Objectives are a mix of what the teacher will be and what the learner will do. The can be written with performance verbs, for the learner only, so that they can be measurable and observable. -Slide 4: The "80:20 rule" is not defined but this may be pre-existing knowledge for the learner -Slide 8: "with no overlaps and no gaps" is not defined After slide 8: Start this section with an example. This will give the learner the answer to the question "why do this?" and engage interest. As the example is deconstructed, the SCR and Pyramid are pointed out. -Slide 10: The term "dot-dashes" may be an added cognitive load. -Slide 13: "Nong" is not defined. Why and How downward arrow is not defined in the context of the pyramid -Slide 14: A real-world example makes this easier to transfer to real-world problems. If this is more design thinking than you are looking please let me know.
