Born and brought up in Jaipur, which falls into northern part of India, where Hindi is the native language, my mother tongue, & is widely used in each walk of life, hence provided me an excellent exposure & command over the language. At the same time my medium of instruction, while in school, college, university, and in most of my professional endeavors, was English, as it was widely used in corporate communication. This exposure gave an edge over English. Though, I was always fond of reading literature of almost every kind be it in English or Hindi, but got to start my career with Banking/Finance; worked there in various roles across levels for more than a decade, but my fascination for literature, reading & writing compelled me to change. Since last 5 years I am working as a freelancer doing Translations, Transcriptions, & writing.
