Hello, My name is Enrico Spadaro and I was born in Catania on 7th June 1991. Since high school I have
nourished a deep passion for foreign languages, especially for English and French. Thus I took part,
in 2006 and in 2007, in two cultural exchanges with Mons and Orleans; I attended English
proficiency courses, and I got Trinity College and Cambridge University certifications, PET in
2005, FCE in 2006, CAE in 2008 and finally CPE in 2011. Once I finished high school (diploma di
maturità scientifica) in 2009, I continued my linguistic studies at Facoltà di Lingue e Letterature
Straniere (now Dipartimento di Scienze Umanistiche), at Università degli Studi di Catania. I
focused on English and French languages and literatures (as first two languages) and German (as a
third one). In November 2012 I earned my bachelor’s degree in Lingue e Culture Europee
(European languages and cultures). Then I moved to Pisa, to start a two-year master course in
Traduzione Letteraria e Saggistica (Literary and Essayist Translation), always with a focus on
English and French. I completed the master, and I graduated (laurea magistrale) in November 2014.
In the two years I spent in Pisa, I carried out some translation projects, both from and into English
and French. In 2016, I worked as Italian Language Assistant in two French high schools in Digne-les-Bains, Region PACA, France.
I wish to
make a career as a professional translator and start teaching foreign languages as learning English,
French, Italian and languages all over the world is a fundamental element in order to achieve a unite
and global world.
