Imagine a character displayed on a website. The character doesn’t move but you can rotate him by moving the cursor.
In the attached GIF the character is rendered in real-time. We need to avoid real-time rendering.
I want to create a script to render the character from all possible angles locally (Vray, Blender, etc.) and create a sequence of JPGs (there will be lots of JPGs but we can use a render farm).
The position of the camera in rendering software will match the coordinates of the cursor on the website. When the user moves the cursor, we will show him the relevant JPG.
None of the JPGs should be downloaded to the user’s computer, only streamed. The JPGs can be optimized as PNG or Webp (~20kb each) for a smooth experience.
