Gift Box - multi-vendor store

The website is suppose to be a fusion between an auction platform like eBay (but on a much much smaller scale) and an online shop - users will be able to add items that other users will be able to browse and purchase at a fixed price (no need for the auctioning side of the website). It is key, that adding an item to the shop is really easy. The seller needs to be able to: edit item description, add photos, edit price, shipping info, see preview of his item’s site receive email notification once the item is sold, The buyer needs to be able to: search items by their name, browse categories, subcategories, apply filters like price, location, browse items presented as tiles, when on item page, go to seller’s page and see his/her other items, after clicking the buy now button is redirected to order completion site where shipping address is entered, shipping method selected and comments added and payment method selected. Homepage - will include top items presented as tails, will have a search pane and will have a list of categories of items available on the website (hover over master category to slide out child categories) Item page - standard online store template - item image, price, description, shipping methods, payment methods, user comments Basic flow of the site will be: - Registration & Login as seller/buyers - Sellers can list products by adding its details - Buyers can search products by using keywords/categories. - Add desired products to shopping cart (direct purchasing). Checkout by providing shipping address - Make payment via integrated payment gateway. - Receive payment confirmation on email. 1. The website is going to be a multi-vendor online store. Users will upload/sell their products online. All the products are listed on the same page generally 2. Users would have their dashboards and profile management accounts on our site. They can register on site and maintain their account 3. Skin / template. We don’t mind using an existing template provided it is visually appealing to us, slick, clear and simple. 4. Doing the design from scratch is also an option but we’d need to discuss how it would affect the cost 5. Product categories will be predefined by us 6. Item display order: There will not be two identical products only the price might be the same. Then posting time will win 7. We’d welcome the feature to review sellers 8. Order cancelled before payment will entail erasing the shopping cart, after payment, manual contact with us 9. There will be probably a fixed fee for posting a product an a variable fee as a % of the price. That will be the cost of adding the item. Seller will debit his or her account and will need to top it up . Buyer only pays the end price set by the seller + shipping cost 10.
