About Me

After graduating with a BS in Computer Science in 2004, I have been working in Japan in various types of jobs. Presently a programmer/system engineer(PG/SE)at a medium sized company in Tokyo, Japan. Establishing a flash/flex developer mindset early on, I use php/C++ on backend machines to help design API's for client applications to access or for other information request services. Android and Iphone app requests have become much more prevalent than flash services, though often I use flex to complete front end jobs while still requiring access to some sort of backend API, which was either provided or created by myself. I also manage various servers and instances, usually Linux based, ranging from in-house machines to cloud server from Amazon, KDDI and Rackspace. I am normally responsible for the installation of said server software (apache/php/MySQL/etc) as well as the day to day administration of users, resources and security on those servers. On occasion Lightwave or Modo was used to further visualization objectives as well as to create Flash/Actionscript/App resources.
