While taking a year out due to a family illness I won the right to receive an apprenticeship as a chef at 'Fifteen' Restaurant based in London. This role was taken on concurrent with my responsibilities as a carer. In relation to my professional experience this role was extremely fast-paced and pressured and gave me the coping mechanisms to deal with demanding and high profile clients later on in my career when I returned to marketing.
