Full Stack Software Developer & Hardware Developer

I am a full stack developer with experience in both back end and front end development working on web applications, databases, server side development, mobile applications, web services, databases, REST, CMS with an ability to develop pretty much all aspects of a project from the ground up. I use a broad range of technologies to allow me to be able to build a project with the best combination most suited to it, and when needed I can quickly familiarise myself with new technologies during a project. I also have some electronics and embedded hardware development experience, so I am suited to some projects in this area, particularly wireless communication, serial protocols, control and automation systems, power circuit design and pcb layout design.

My key role is as a software specialist, tasked with to develop and implement a standardized model for their SCADA platform and implement it across all their sites. On a day to day basis I work closely with differnt departments to identify and prioritise key areas in the current system needed improvement, then applying all of this to the overall sytem developement, as well as daily support and maintenance of the system.

Strapped

tet 2014 - sht 2015 (11 months, 1 day)

This role was to design a prototype involving a pysical device, mobile application and platform for a new product. I solved big challenges in the device's communication protocols and overall process flow for interacting with the cloud and mobile devices. I developed the backend code, including a REST api, database, web service and server set up. On the mobile side of things, I developed the app on the Android platform and implimented ui designs provided to me by a designer.

Digicel

dhj 2014 - pri 2015 (4 months, 1 day)

I helped develop the first version of a mobile application for multiple platforms and a web service gateway to connect with Digicel's existing services on the Mobile Money platform. I developed a hybrid application using Cordova, implemented several features and designs from the original platform to work on mobile. I then worked on a web gateway to allow me to test the app and authorise users with the existing services.
