Hybrid Creative Jack of all Trades. Master of some

I'm a Hybrid Creative Engineer. I have gained a broad range of experience from Programming to Electronics and Embedded systems and yes even Website design. I've even been a diplomat for the EEC of sorts lecturing on Networking and E-commerce Security and spent some time at the BBC. I'm currently focusing on my 3D Design skills and experience. With 6 years experience at sculpting human topology ;-D I mostly do my own topology and rigging for characters and offer unique bespoke models rather than the modified off the shelf solutions that many in my chosen field do. I am also into Photorealism and love ray traced compositions. Sleep is something other people do as it's tough competing against guys in poorer countries who can do some very reasonable work on a very much lower income. Also forgive me if I'm a little wary sometimes. As it also stings a little when an employer changes their mind, cancels and we still get charged 10%. I'm not expensive and need to eat too ;-)

I didn't get the contract etc... but someone out there on the intertubes thinks this one was better as images of it a already flying around and being shared. A guy supplied some hand drawn pictures of a sports car he'd quickly knocked out and I made them look good and I might add 3d printable.

Elsewhere on my portfolio is a masked anime girl. I took the basemesh for that which actually only took about 3 hours to knock out and spent a bit more time on it. Well a lot more time on it. It's no longer the same mesh. However somehow I've made the end result too young looking so selling her for the 3d porn industry is definitely out of the question (Which was the original intention as I need to make money). I even removed the erm... extra topology and deforms involved in disgust at myself. They were only an approximation anyway and hardly accurate :-) The end result is still a work in progress. There's some texture pinching issues around the nose etc. The eyes are a fully procedural texture with no bitmaps involved.

A French Childrens' cartoon Character and a Cautionary Tale. After a days work on being awarded the contract. I in my eagerness to get the money which wasn't I might add very much. Uploaded all the files and messaged the client saying it was ready. The Client in the Lebanon downloaded them and cancelled the contract. It turns out his client changed their mind. I initially though he'd either robbed me of the files or didn't like it but he since got back and apologised and offered more work so I'm not so bitter about it now;-)

I'm sure most male 3d Professionals have an embarrassing array of attempts at creating a pretty girl character. This one's a year old rather than in her late teens. Someone told me the second picture looks like she's playing with herself but it was meant to cover the erm... more detailed parts for NSFW issues :-) I don't think you can actually make breasts that large in MakeHuman or even Daz3d. So yes this is a stricly pure quad mesh with each vertex lovingly hand placed and pushed by yours truly. (I went to a lot of effort to kill the triangles). This is also lower Poly than most (Especially that Mixamo Fuse/Project Pinnoccio peice of Horse Puckey with its' abysmal muscular topology).

This is an experiment in developing a shader node that actually accurately models the spectral dispersion in glass as most renders I see don't bother with it. It's important when it comes to rendering jewels etc. Also shows off my attempts at descent reflective anisotropy and cut marks in metals.

Dazhazit understood exactly what I wanted. I mentioned I needed a 3D print and he was able to understand what was needed and quickly produce it from a short description. It very much showed me the necessity of choosing a freelancer who understands what you are going to do with the end product. I had previously used another freelancer to draw my 3D model - but because they didn't understand 3D printing, they got it all wrong and wasted my time and money. In the end Dazhazit built a model from scratch in a few hours - whereas it took a week for the other freelancer to understand how the model needed to be different for 3D printing and in the end I gave up. I would highly recommend Dazhabit, he finished early and gave me all the file formats I requested
