Born in Chicago, IL David Ford also known as Don Alexander has always had a passion for the visual arts. Growing up Don Alexander was introduced to photography by his grandfather who was a amateur photographer. Alexander’s father was always capturing family moments with a video camera. Being introduced to cameras at an early age led Don Alexander to take photography classes his whole high school career.After graduating high school Don Alexander attended many different colleges trying to adjust to life as an adult in the city. In 2012, Alexander got back to his roots and start filming. Since then he has directed music videos for various artist, commercials, live events, and short/feature films.
