Dear Sir/Madam I bring with my quality experience of working as an Video Editor for last seven years. I have a three years long association with Express TV as an Video Editor at Programming Department. I have the professional expertise of working on a myriad of video formats. I also have five years as an Animator/Compositor. My Editing and Animation portfolio encompasses drama serials, sitcoms, music/magazine shows, music videos, talk shows, cooking/business based programs, promotional campaigns, TVC s and documentaries. My responsibility is to understand and deliver on the directors’ vision for the project. The director talks with me and tells me what is expected. While I make some decisions based on my own taste and style, meeting the director's expectations is the top priority. The bulk of the creative work done involves assembling the images from the raw footages into an order that tells a story or accomplishes another goal of the project. This includes making interesting or seamless transitions from one shot to another. My editing job also involves adding titles, effects and sound to the editing timeline to produce a viewer-ready production in a creative way.
