I'm a native Japanese speaker living in Canada. I have worked as a translator, interpreter and audio transcriber on various projects. Currently I work as a graphic designer / woodworker / laser engraver full time, and I've taken courses on Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop along the way. I like learning new things, and one of the great things about translating is you often learn something new. I designed some posters with motivational quotes. The employer wanted the design to be simple but memorable.

Poster Design

This was created for a musical piece. The creator had certain ideas and I picked one of them as a concept. First I created a pencil drawing, then I used Photoshop and Illustrator to alter the image.

Custom laser engraving of company logos for their corporate gifts (on wood and steel). Layout of the logos are done with Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw.
