Administer IT infrastructure / IT Services: Responsible for LAN, desktop and server administration; troubleshooting, network project management in a 500+ seat software development environment within the enterprise WAN. IT Infrastructure Inventory Support: Responsible for preparing, revising and submitting IT Inventory reports to the relevant management and present these at the relevant forums. This includes reporting on all statistics relevant to IT Support operations metrics and making recommendations for service improvement to sustain business for Dimension Data.
IT Audit Support: External IT audit engagements including system platform audits, Compliance Readiness reviews, IT Risk Assessments, change management, and business process control assurance Policies on information asset protection, data classification, operating system platform security, network security, and acceptable computing resource use.
Cisco Technical Support: Providing Cisco UCM support to all Cisco IP Phones users. Working using Cisco UCM running on a 2900 router to provide call processing, Phone feature, VOIP administration and directory services. Maintaining and administration of ASA 5500 series firewalls and configure their feature as per the network infra requirements. Handle and prioritize high-complexity IronPort issue. Provide top-tier support and operational for best in-breed internet security technology. Providing of inbound/outbound ASA rules as per the user requirements.
IT Policy & Documentation: Developing IT policy documentation (ITSM) based services to clients using ITIL best practices for various functions like. Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Configuration Management and Service Desk. Remaking of all Network infrastructure diagram according to management process.

•Administrate the network having more than 500 users, having more than 100 high-availability production servers in data center environment and 5 remote locations ensuring up time and load balancing. • Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
• Manage and administrate Microsoft Threat Management Gateway and Linux Based proxy server.
• Monitor network performance using the Orion NPM along with NCM, APN and IPSLA to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
• Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
Systems Engineer

•Administrate and maintain the group of Windows 2000/2003 high availability servers ensuring uptime, applications & operating system patches, maintenance releases, applying appropriate security policies, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and performing backup and recovery duties. Maintain user’s log.
•Implements, administrates and maintains MS SQL databases. Schedule database/ application backup by using standard procedures. Applying operating system updates and configuration changes.
•Review database performance parameters. Perform security administration from database/ application server side. Run regular audits on all systems and network devices.
•Troubleshoot operating system, network connectivity, and end-user problems. Provide technical support and user training to more than 100 company users. Manages external technology projects.
•Develops and maintains technology policies, standards and procedures manual; develops and maintains related technology checklists.
