  Hi, converting from Access 2007 to 2013 should be a straightforward procedure unless you are moving from 32-bit to 64-bit Access and use Microsoft's ActiveX controls (Treeview, Listview etc.) You list PHP as one of the recommended skills, any reason for this?

  First of all there is no MS-Access 2014 version exist till the date. Second, if this is running on MS-Access 2007, normally, it should run on MS-Access 2013 without any major issue. Third, do you have the source file (mdb, accdb) otherwise it should be started from scratch. Forth, what is the current version of MS Windows with 32/64bit ? Thank you.

  Usually Access is backward compatible within few versions and you should be able to run 2007 on 2013 (not 2014). Obviously something is not working and I assume it is that you try to run old VBA code on 64 bit version of Access. You might need to provide DB (remove data from tables if it is sensitive), so we can have a look.

  Could you give some basic information? Could you tell us:
  1. The industry your database should be designed for ( e.g. restaurant, a doctor's surgery, a school etc. )
  2. The number of users on your system.
  3. The amount of data involved (megabytes / gigabytes).
  4. The type of information you want to get out of the system.
  5. The type security you want.
  Can I suggest that you change the contest to supply basic information and ask for bidders to supply a ER (entity relationship design) and a physical data model. This will allow you to view their understanding of what you want and give you the ability to compare designs.

  Access 2013 is a last edition of Access. Converting to accdb can be in 2007 ( but I am not sure at 100%) in 2010 Access can be convert to accdb format. Office 365 also can be used for the last edition of Access. I can try to convert your database if you provide your file. Your database is standalone? It is not using MS SQL and not in adp format?
