I have written a fictional autobiography, and I am seeking to make the opening chapter more captivating and intriguing for the reader. I have attached the chapter, and I am seeking for you to rewrite it in any style you like, to really grab the readers attention. I like Hunter S Thompson, but the style choice can be yours if you think it will get the readers attention. You can add, remove, edit any aspects of the attached chapter, so please feel free to be creative. You're welcome to add sarcasm, or remove sarcasm, I don't mind. Do whatever you think will make the chapter more exciting/enjoyable to read.
I will award the winner as a guarantee, and will also likely ask for you to quote a price to review the entire novel (at your chosen hourly rate) if you are the winner.

Hey, can you please give me some more information on the opening scene. where are you? what are you doing? is she talking to you on the phone or in person? Later on in the book, how often do you speak directly to the reader?

dear contest holder what are you looking for in your chapter that is not presently there? i mean what exactly are we supposed to add to it? Humor? Anger?

  Humour would work, yes. It's not an angry novel.
  Also any engaging environment descriptions. I fell like it's static as the moment, so any excitement in style or content would be good. I want the reader to read the first chapter and want to read on. It could be more fast paced.
