Please take notice we are a PC/3D Gaming Company. We are not a mobile App gaming company. We are looking for a not so "NICE" type of logo here. Simple "CORP" designs will not do. We have had only 1 person on the right track so far with their character they have submitted. Please attempt to think of someone in this worlds "Sack" or "X-Ball" or "Happy Light" or something else along those lines.

Thanks for the submissions so far, but lets concentrate more on the character and less on the lettering guys. Letter can be changed. Prize money can be increased if needed. Please provide us feedback and DO NOT TAKE A REJECT AS WE DON'T LIKE YOU OR THE ART. IT JUST SIMPLY MEANS WE WANT MORE OUT OF IT.

We have more 2D concept and Graphic work currently on the table for the winner here. We are flexible on some pay but do require you to meet our goals here. We also want to make sure you "MESH" with our style's as well for not only ourselves, but the game as well.

Creative Director's Brief:
Character logo design, with added Typefont. The character will be a patchwork doll, of a mixed species origin.

(2 different wolves, and a dragonesque mouth. With a chesire like grin [psychotically happy]. Wrapped up in a strait jacket.)

The character will be leaning against the words "PsychoPatch Studio's". It should look almost like a childs doll, but alive at the same time. A 3 way split for the coloration/animal splitting in a T form. Wolves being each eye, and ear, with a dragon-like mouth for the big toothy grin. Standard white jacket, and the feet should be sneaker shod, and the jacket should come down to that point. The purpose is to make it look like a childs toy that was pieced together from multiple parts, and then became insane. The basic idea' is for the "character" portion of it, to appear as a childs toy, signifying a bonding of 3 different personalities/people that came together in a patchwork of idea's.

With the contest, you are being given freedom for coloration, patterns or the font you use, positioning etc. The character itself currently has its basic shell, and the contest is to bring it to life the strongest.. Some other companies that many people know have used a mascot as the primary physical representation instead of a name like the name "Ronald" mixed with a clown face. It is meant to appear as a small and 'cuddly' but also have that air of mischievous insanity.

For the Font, the P's in Psycho and Patch, should share the same basic concept, and seem like they are cobbled together like a childs patchwork toy.The rest of the lettering is just standard block text. If you do another piece of text for it, that is also perfectly acceptable, as long as it flows with the idea's that you have put into it.

This could possibly mean more contract work for you as well in the future. We are looking for full time artists. We only accept auditions via freelance work for regular positions. any further questions for this contest can be directed at bryan@pleydesigns.com.

Ok everyone we are starting to see a lot of "WHOLESOMENESS" here. Not the style we are necessarily looking for. Mean it up a bit guys. The ones who are getting higher scores are the ones who look at the "CHARACTER" more and less on the "TYPING". Hm as simple as you think it is, it will take some time to create such request and nobody wants to waste time on contest like this, a real illustrator won't a beginner or somebody who is just starting maybe will. You should consider making this a project not a contest and then ask for some sketches and see how it goes.

  Using a contest format for us, lets us see what people come up with without the constant guidance from individuals within the section. If future work is going to be passed, and awarded, then the ability to work about within a general constraint, while still utilizing freedom is a requirement for the projects we are working on. I do not mean to undermine anybodies abilities within the site, or anybody that might be looking at the contest. I would rather like to think, that we are seeing how they work, and the process in which they provide output with minimal/limited input. An unspoken mental collaboration if you will.

  I'm curious which parts contradict each piece. The overall outline is that its a single character, with the 'base lines' sketched out, and a fill in the blank situation for minor details. If I am missing a point within your statement I would love to clarify anything further, but I am just missing the contradiction.

  It is as described, but the minor details, can be played with a bit. Such as if there is a pattern, a coloration etc. The base parts of what each piece is, is set, but there is some freedom in patterns, and colorations.
