Dear freelancers,
I see a lot of you thought about creating motorcycle graphic from "oto" subword, but the 99.999% realizations are not even good, and faaar away from excellent. Maybe try to drop this idea, which is pretty creative, but hard to implement, and try to redirect your focus onto higher level of minimalism, and the abstraction that is not hard to grasp. It does not have to scream: "I AM MOTORCYCLE APP LOGO". The name "motofly" already do it. You just need to make it more appealing with some small catchy abstraction, that does not impact word "motofly" readability.

Dear freelancers, i see that you submit plenty of logo with standalone graphics. The suggestion is: try to embed the graphic into "Motofly" word itself. Its much more creative, will be rated higher and you will have higher chances to win the contest. Thanks for yours amazing work!

We are startup working on the innovative mobile application for motorcyclists and enthusiasts called "Motofly". It's social app mixed with navigation, with features making riding more enjoyable and safe, finding moto companions easier, sharing trip ideas possible and a lot of more. We are finishing the app development, but there is still one important piece missing - logo. And here I am, looking for your creativity. I believe we can work together to create the logo masterpiece. We, the motofly team, think big. We hope one day our app will be used across the world. And I hope one day, one of you will be able to say with proud in his/her voice: "Hey, that's my logo right there!"

Contest requirements:
- no 3d renders
- logo proposals on solid background
- do not ask me to check your entry in comments, I will do it for sure! Leave comments section clean for my feedback and announcements, please

Logo design requirements - there are none. We have only couple of guidances:
- it should suit app theme colors(black and shades predominate with red and white accents): https://coolors.co/palette/0b090a-161a1d-660708-a4161a-ba181b-e5383b-b1a7a6-d3d3d3-f5f3f4-ffffff
- we find beauty in simplicity and abstraction
- we have several connotations with word "motofly": motorcycles, flying, freedom, adrenaline high, trip, community, brotherhood, speed. Those meanings may be good starting point or not :)
- it doesn't need to look sporty/speedy/sharp, it can be smooth
- we like mono/two-color logo
- generic templates won't work here, be creative

Let your imagination free. If you have great idea not following guidances at all, please submit it anyway. We are very open to new ideas. Maybe you will reach to our hearts another way.

The contest winner will be also invited to future cooperation on motofly graphics design projects, and I assure you, there are plenty of them.

      I agree that the minimalistic logo you mentioned are far better than the one i pasted, thanks for yours valuable lesson :) I already uploaded those logo as contest examples. Anyway, I have to disagree with one thing you said about this mpec logo - that i didn't see the name of the company. You are wrong. The company name was first thing i saw. But the rest of your points - totally agree. Thanks!

      Try to translate your example into one color, black for example) do you also see everything you wrote about there? I have been making logos for 27 years, I have been creating logos for large businesses for the last 10 years, I know what I am talking about.
