Drift & Thrift is a new Instagram channel and web blog dedicated to placing a spotlight on people who are coming from all walks of life to help drive positive social & environmental change through the responsible use of our resources. Whilst the issue of plastic waste is a definite focus, Drift can encompass any individual who has made a shift either professionally or casually to work towards making a positive difference to the planet. Similarly, Thrift is those who hold efficient of time, resources and money in the highest regard and work to promote the idea of reuse, reduce & recycle moving society away from a wasteful disposable lifestyle.
The target audience is mass, but particularly aiming to attract millennial and gen z attention - those who understand how vital it is that we work together towards a more sustainable & green future. 50:50 male female. I'd like the logo to incorporate the organisation's name, or at least the lettering, and be immediately obvious that this is a business focused around helping the natural world (oceans, animals, forests, clean air etc). The main concept is that we need to work together in order to solve these huge environmental problems that face - hence everyone from individuals to grass roots organisations to experts all playing a key part.
Bold colours that stand point, but also relate to the topic are preferable.
Please provide both an Instagram Icon logo as well as a larger website logo if you are to be considered for the winning prize.
