I'm on the lookout for a proficient graphic designer to create a modern style logo for my church's Student Ministry called "Cap City Students". The primary target demographic for this logo is teenagers and their parents, therefore, it needs to be highly appealing to this age group. It will be featured on both digital and print media, and should translate to both. I want a symbol, not text art.

Key Aspects:
- The logo should be modern and vibrant.
- It should logo good without text. I am not looking for a fun font, rather a symbol to use.
- It should effectively use a bright and colorful color palette (except for yellow because this is used elsewhere in the church), but be able to look good in black and white as well.
- The design should resonate with teenagers.
- The logo should be symbolic and point back to our vision and mission of "leading the next generation of Christ-Driven 24/7 Jesus Followers, by creating space for students to experience a relationship with God, as they worship, connect, grow, and serve." Feel free to use as much or as little of this to inspire the design, just as long as the logo itself can point back to this in some way.

WHAT TO AVOID:
- the image of the cross. It is already prominently displayed on our main church logo, and I want something clearly different for the student ministry
- Type-based logos. I am looking for a symbol that can stand on its own without words. Initials are fine, but only if they are creatively portrayed.
- Avoid designing something that looks too close to our current church logo or previous youth logo, both of which are attached.

Skills and Experience:
Ideal candidates should have:
- Experience in graphic designing.
- A creative portfolio of modern logo designs.
- Experience creating logos for youth-targeted organizations.
- Understanding of color psychology and its usage to appeal to teenagers.
- Strong communication skills and receptivity to feedback.

Included for reference are the current church and student ministry logos.
