I just need someone to fix and update about 4 or 5 sample pages for a mock ecommerce site written in ASP.NET (VB.NET) and some tutorial help if necessary. (see uploaded files and word doc. For detailed project description)

This project should not take long or cost much money. This has to be a low budget project at the moment but in the future I would be willing to pay the same programmer much more for further work and tutorials.

The objective is not just to update the pages and provide the necessary code but to explain all the code using detailed notes so I can adapt the application later. Notes have already been written but they are not detailed enough. Notes should be provided for almost every line of code in the application. In some instances notes should take up more then one line. I would prefer too many notes then not enough.

I have an online shopping mall selling various goods. I currently use the paypal buy it now buttons by pasting in the common paypal HTML form code.

[url removed, login to view]

I have found this method very easy but inflexible. Thats why I wanted to add extra functionality and flexibility by using ASP.NET (VB.NET) code to post transaction info to the paypal server when the customer clicks submit.

I need an example complete with asp.net web controls and in the Visual [url removed, login to view] language. I need four or more imaginary shopping items that will both have a quantity text box option so the customer can choose the quantity.

The application will also be able to update values displayed in a table from a database perhaps using a function and a SqlRowUpdatedEventArgs event handler. This is so I can add on extra cost (profit) from one location (asp.net page) as explained in the project details.

I would like the source code in separate files so its easier to read. Please remember I want plenty of notes whereby complex and obscure programmer terminology is explained in a way even a novice like me would understand.

Also please remember that much of the code has already been written but with errors and therefore needs debugging and updating.

Please read the word document for a more detailed explanation of the product.

Employer Questions:

(1) Do you have the ability to explain complex concepts and vague terminology in a simple, unambiguous way?

(2) would it be possible to provide notes for one relatively short page of code before I offer you the project so I can test your ability?
