Teach me Visual Studio 2017 for Mac

Hi, I previously coded in C# on Visual Studio about 7 years ago and I'm now trying to navigate Visual Studio 2017 for Mac (also known as Visual Studio Community for Mac) and need some help from someone to get me up to speed. I need to build a basic project which references some web services (I can't work out how to add a web reference for the life of me). Thanks!
