Background:
Chic Puppy is a dog & human shared clothing brand.
We very much need to brand this & want to offer graphic tees & hoodies for both dogs & their owners.
We plan on offering 4 lines in the brand; Zen(Graphics with yoga, eastern spiritual influence), Breed Pride(Awesome graphics showcasing different breeds), Chic Line(Dog puns & Sayings with cool graphics), & Classy Pup(Cute clothes without graphics).
To give you a brief vision of the brand; We are shipping each garment in a very cool custom box, we plan on running very creative marketing schemes, maximizing social, & we are donating 10% of profits to micro-finance in the 3rd world which will help many villages.
Skills:
We need an individual who understands our vision, versus just making good money.
Right now I need to find shirt designers who find this concept interesting & wants to join a startup on this journey. You should be proficient in illustrator & understand branding in the apparel business. Before hire we need some of your work & a sample done of one of our concepts. Your work will speak for everything.
Compensation:
We recognize that designers are a crucial part of this brand so we will compensate very good. The forecast for a Dog "Brand" is looking good so commission looks to be over $100 per design.
I want to offer a low base pay for each design to get this off the ground 1st & then a healthy commission for each design. There are limited funds per design at this point in the startup, so we would prefer stronger growth 1st which compensates better commission long term.
I currently have 50+ design ideas to work off of, or get inspiration from.
Will be looking for a basic sample of one of these to get an idea of your skill, creativity, & understanding of branding.
I've attached pictures of mandala pups in our zen line, some graphic styles, & our logos.
